I never really knew brandon but i heard so many good things from his uncel jeff. Jeff says he was a warm hearted person who was very loving and many people cared for him. I am terribly sorry about your son. He was my age when he died and that makes me think what if that was me that died? I lost my mom in 2002 and It helped me to look at life in a different point. Anyways I will keep your son Brandon in my prayers and i will make sure to light a candle in my church almost every Sunday for you guys. I knew Brandon from Howe. I went with him in our 8th and 9th grade year. Even though our time together was short he still knew how to make me smile whenever I was down. When I found out the first thing I did was cry because it's a shame that someone this wonderful of a person had to leave us after such a short time.

I'm so glad to hear from you. April tells me that you still attend Howe. Is there anyone besides you there, that knew Brandon? If so, please spread the word about his memorial web page. As you see, I'm doing two yearbook pages for the high school that Brandon attended. I would love to put one in the Howe yearbook, but I'm not even sure how to go about it. If you have any ideas, please let me know.
So where are you from? Did I ever meet you? The big
question is, did you know Geoff Gerbich or Girvich. He sent me money to go toward Brandon's stone. I lost the envelope it came in, therefore his address. I haven't been able to send him a thank-you card and it's killing me. If you can figure out any way to get in touch with him, please let me know. I am also trying to get in touch with Lawrence. He lived in Detroit and attended Brandon's funeral, in fact he was a pall bearer.
April tells me that you might have photos of Brandon. If you do and would be willing to make me copies, I will pay you for the cost. Any photos I can get my hands on, is like gold to me.

I met Brandon freshmen year at Howe. He helped with many things, not only with school but he showed me alot in general. We had so many fun times in such a short period. Its weird how you can spend a year with someone and they become like a brother to you. I left after freshmen year like he did and i always wondered what what going on with him. I missed him since i left and i still miss him. Its so sad, evevrything is. Thanks to Anjel, i found out about everything. We had some good times together and ill never forget him or the memories.

It looks like they had been snapping eachother with wet towels, because their butts are very red. I can't send them over the net., because they could get me for child porn. I'm glad you have such fond memories of Brandon. He met a lot of good people at Howe. I am searching for the address for one of them. His name is Geoff Gervouch or Gerberch. He was there in Brandon's 8th grade year. Even if you don't know him, maybe you know someone who did.
He sent me money and I haven't had a chance to thank him, because I lost his address.

Thank-you for your reply. I'm so glad that you liked the yearbook page and web site. There was two more yearbook pages that were rejected. Make sure that you view them on Brandon's web site.
Brandon's memorial monument has arrived and looks wonderful. Brandon's dad did landscaping around it yesterday and did a wonderful job. I think it's been a while sense you've been to his grave, or at least sense you've wrote in his journal. You'll have to go to see it.
I just know that Brandon is happy with it. It's just what he would have wanted. Make sure that you write in his journal, so I know that you've been there.

I'm glad that you liked the yearbook page. I'm not sure if you know this, but it almost didn't happen. I'm so glad that it did, so he will always be remembered by his classmates.
I make changes to the web site from time to time and add poems written by his friends, for him. There is a thing that you can click onto, so you're notified whenever something new is added. I'm glad you liked the web page too. I'm new at this and don't have a clue what I'm doing, but knew I needed to do it.

I remeber Sara and I liked her a lot, because she stuck up for herself and tried to make Brandon treat her like a lady. Too many girls these days let guys treat them like trash, but not Sara. I think Brandon dated her right after he came back from military school. She lived near us and had a sister who was killed in a M.V.A. I never see her and have often wondered if she still lives around here.

Just a quick note to say that I miss you very much! And also to tell you today that Tim R was over here to see Derek. I have not seen or heard from him in a long time. I told him to go to the cementary to visit you today, so hopefully he will. He had Tina with him and she looked alright. She said that her mom and her was not talking. I told her that she needs to talk to her mom. But anyways Brandon Just wanted to say Hi and let you know that all of the McCurdys are surving the best that we can. we had a memorial picnic on Sat. June 26th, to mark one year sinse my son's death. He made the mistake of riding ina car with a drunk driver and paid for it with his life. The driver also died and two other girls survived and are doing fine. Brandon was one day shy of 18.
Did you keep the balloon? If you did, could you tell me if there is a hair tie attached to the balloon and if there was anything written on the balloon or the sticker? I wrote, "In memory of Brandon Berry, " His web site and something about logging on an telling us who and where you are. If there was anything besides that written on the sticker or on the balloon, please let me know. One person took thier hair tie off, thinking it would travel further. Some of Brandon's friends wrote on the balloon, some on the opposite side of the sticker and some not at all. Hope to hear from you soon.

I went to school with Brandon when he went to Tecumseh. I first met him in 5th grade and he was my first crush but I never told him. I thought so much of him but was to shy to say anything along those lines. We were good friends back then and I still feel like we are. I dont go a day with out thinking about him, so I wanted to thank you for makeing this web site so I can always remember him I am on here like ever other day about. Also thank you for have such a great son that made me laugh and was so much fun eventhough he was not on earth as long as I or any body would have liked.

Thank-you for the comments. I think I remember Brandon talking about you, but I'm not sure. There were two Marki's, the other one being Marki Shroyer. Were you ever friend's with Becka Brown?
Brandon's Grandma Berry said you were at Brandon's grave the other day, but I didn't see anything written in the book. Did your friend ever find his wallet?
It's good to know that Brandon had so many people who liked him and thought he was a good person. Once you loose a chi;d, there is only a few things left to worry about. Are they safe in Heaven and will everybody forget them? So far he hasn't been forgotten and I believe you and others will always keep him in your hearts. As long as you do that, he's still with us.

That happens to me all the time, boys that look like Brandon at all different ages. I'm a nurse at Herrick and I had a little 4 year old boy as a patient. He looked so much like Brandon at that age, that I wanted to kidnap him.

I have been to Brandons memorial web site a few times over the years but never realized that we could leave a message! I don't know if you use this page anymore cuz most comments are from 2004! But I just wanted to let you know that I think of Brandon all the time and hope that all of you are doing good! Brandon will always be in my heart!!! He was always one of my favorites and he always made me smile!! Everyone knew me as Ms. Brady but I am now Mrs.Lewis!! I visited his grave site when I  was in MI last year for my son Cody's graduation and I wrote in his book! I can't believe it has been 9 years!! Everytime I see a dragonfly I know it is Brandon paying me a visit!! I have been seeing him alot lately!! He was such a great person and I know he would have been a great man!! He is up in heaven watching over all of us every day!! God Bless all of you and I hope this web site stays up Forever! It's nice to just check in occasionally and look at the pictures and what people write! I live in CA now so I am too far away to visit his grave site so this web site is all I have!
