Here are the new photos of Brandon's grave, with his new monument.  Brandon's dad worked very hard to landscape around it and made it look very special.  I'm very sorry about the reflection in the monument.   It is such a shiney stone and I couldn't figure out how to get a close up without reflecting.

Click here to see "An Interview With God." You won't regret it.

The Heart Goes On
Author;  Nancy Stephens

Even when you're away from me,
I know that you're still there.
The memory lives in me,
because I will always care.
Our lives, our hopes,
our dreams were one.
Yes my child, the heart goes on.

The day you left me,
hurt more than one could ever understand.
No one could tell me,
that this is what God planned.
You were so young,
so how could this be?
If anyone should have died,
it should have been me.

For I cannot ever put
 away from my mind,
the little things that you've done for me,
 that were so kind.
From the time that I first held you,
I just knew,
that I would live my life
all over again in you.

We shared so much together,
so can't you see,
that without you in my life,
I'm no longer me?
In my heart,
you will always have the same place.
Although, only from pictures and memories,
I see your face.

The loving memories I have of you,
I'll take with me.
When some day the Lord calls me
and sets me free,
then we'll live again eternally as one.
Yes my child, the heart goes on.

There is a reflection that is not part of the stone.

Hello from Heaven

I thought I would write you,
to let you know I'm here.
to add some comfort in your life,
because you think I'm not there.
You see I send you signs,
and let you know that I'm not far away,
but you haven't acknowledged them,
to this very day.
---------------------------------------------------
I was there to dry your tears,
the day you said "goodbye."
I was the little voice that whispered
in your ear, "don't cry."
I was the butterfly you seen,
that all around you flew.
To let you know that I was there
and always will be with you.
----------------------------------------------
You see although you can't see me,
doesn't mean that I'm not there.
I'm with you all the time,
everyday and everywhere.
I watch you try to go on without me,
struggling everyday.
How I wish you could feel me,
to take your pain away.
--------------------------------------------
You think that you have to visit me
in the earths cold ground.
My body only resides there,
but my spirit can't be found.
For I live today in a different form,
one you can not see.
So open your heart and mind,
look closer to see me.
------------------------------------------
You see I never left you,
I never went away.
I am still a part of you,
each and everyday.
Can you deny your feelings,
because someone said you should?
Wouldn't you want to talk to me,
if you thought you could?
---------------------------------------------
Why don't people want to believe,
what is so very real?
Why do they want to dismiss
what they really feel?
To many the truth is there,
but they remain blind.
Thinking they have to wait
for their loved one to find.
-----------------------------------------
Open your mind and your heart
and let me ease your pain.
Let you feel and hear me
and be with you again.
I know it's hard to believe,
but I hope you will find,
I never went far away
and I never left you behind.

I Can Almost
by Victoria Walker

I can almost see you smile,
in the shadows of my mind.
Bringing me the peace,
I have struggled so hard to find.

I can almost hear your voice,
telling me "Be not saddened nor afraid,
just remember all the good,
how we loved and laughed and played."

I can almost feel your touch,
wiping away my every tear.
As I stand among my shattered dreams,
letting me know you are still near.

I can almost hear you say,
"One day, you'll be here too,
for I will be here, waiting to welcome you.
